Rumours of the grand opening of the www.chainsaw881.blogspot.com are greatly
exaggerated. Actually, the grand opening is greatly exaggerated. Went to the
store but they were all out of hoopla. Does anyone know how began the practice
of having the grand opening after the _________(fill in the blank with your own
favorite) has been open for a while?

Fact o' the week: Frank Gosar's (KLCC) ceramics make wonderful holiday season
gifts (no, I haven't started to sell time in the occasional, I just owe him
one).
____________
The program for 1 October, 2005
Really need to rethink these radio specials...with limited air time, it's hard
to paint the pictures I see in my head...I salivate thinking what they would
look like if I took my medication...
The First Part: A touch of the spoken word and a David Wiffin tribute...
Wayne Scott/The Writer/This Weary Way
Ray Wylie Hubbard/Drivin' Wheel/Delirium Tremolos
The Next Part: The Wayne Scott disc is darn near precious. If I ever have a
picking party, I want him there. (editor's note: it's also nice to have some of
the best players around playing with you). Son Darrell gets equal time.
Wayne Scott/Sinner/This Weary Way
Scott, Thompson, Malone/With a Memory Like Mine/Live in NC
The Part after the Next Part: Conflicted...the Browne disc was a discovery at
the station thing...As I am told that I am still skewing older, this play makes
sense. I just don't know about dragging out this stuff. The Cooper track
received some interesting listener response...I am more conflicted about this
disc than I was before I tracked this cut.
Jackson Browne/These Days/Solo Acoustic, Volume 1
Cary Cooper/All Her Angels/Yellow
The Main Part:
Johnny Cash radio special: Man in Black, part III
The Part for People in Maine: More conflict. The instrumental tracks on this
disc are so cool. The arrangements on the other tracks are fun and of merit. I
just am not quite behind the vocals. (editor's note: this means that all the
rest of you out in folkdj-l land should rush out and play the stuffing out of
this disc because you will like it bigtime.
Mary Flower/Raise the Devil/Bywater Dance
Mary Flower/La grippe/Bywater Dance
Mary Flower/Terminal Rag/Bywater Dance
The Part Following the Last Part: I have a source who indicates that Buzz would
appreciate me playing this track. It's a nice album of instrumental guitar
music.
Buzz Turner/Afternoon in Chiapas
The Part ending the Audience Torture for Another Week:
By the time I completed the plugging the next program chatter, there wasn't time
for the track I had selected. Doesn't matter. Everything on this Acoustic Disc
release is a winner.
Jody Stecher y Mike Seeger/Constant Lowdown/Tone Poets
